So after a month on here...I would like JW lurkers to read as well.
by Aussie Oz ini learn: the watchtower society's first president was not ct russell, that he was into pyramids, that rutherford hijacked his little religion and turned it into a powerhouse for publishing, that he liked sly grog, had 2 cadillacs to al capones 1, was a bully, and had cancer of the bum, that over all the years they can't make up their mind between new and old light, that the governing body dont even consult the bible, that they had at least one gay g/b member, manipulate prophecy, set dates and blame the flock, invented disfellowshipping just after critizing the catholics for excomunication, avoid taxes, lie on the stand, joined the u.n, own billions of dollars worth of ny, trade stocks and shares, tried be friends with hitler, condoned bribery in mexico, let the flock think they were resticted by the mexican govt, let mallawians die for nothing, keep watering down the blood policy, whitwash their own history, have secret books to help child custody battles, hides criminals, runs heretic witch hunts, spys, has two watchtower mags, supported swaggert in court, lies, controls minds, protects pedophiles, punishes victims, tears families apart, is anti education, is practically run by lawyers, has more corporations than wallstreet it seems, promote wt lit as part of the bible, supported racial segregation in the south, policed the bedroom, that the bible and preaching work are a front for a massive, giant megalomaniacal malevolent publishing house.
that none of this is unsupported lies!.
and to think that a month or so ago, i thought the only dirt on them might have been being a little to harsh on shunning.. i feel sick.

this will prevent any major reforms or restructuring and very much make this another "buisness as usual" year.new light on blood: there will be an article on blood; it will change the blood policy in a minor way as to loosen it up, but that will not be explicitly stated.

Were you a JW that "bend" the rules?
by Mr. Monday Night ini knew a few jws (including some of my family members) who would go clubbing, concerts, play sports ,watch rated r movies and go to party's with "worldy" people.
at the same time, managed to live life in the "truth" (such as field service, give talks, hold the mic during the wt study, etc.).
were you one or knew a jw who was like that.

When I was an elder I refused to ask for $0.20 when selling
the Watchtower and Awake. I saw R rated movies, and often
just carried by Bible when going from door to door. I also
made out with my wife at the hall one night when I was
doing some work on counting the literature.

Cautious Newcomer

i have been puzzled over some of the teachings for many years but as i seemed to be the only one querying things among my local jw's i felt as if i was going crazy.
i was very relieved to find this site, a few months ago, full of evidence to back up my findings, and so much more.. i am so grateful to you all.. i do not want to leave the organization until i have planted some seeds in my family to open their eyes.

" Millions Now Living Will Never Die" Ray Franz Thoughts from " Crisis of C "
by flipper inof course this has been hashed and re-hashed as all of you know the feb. 15th wt is re-directing jw's to read the title of rutherford's talk as " millions now living may never die.
" however in reading crisis of conscience a second time - i found it interesting to see what ray franz said about this quote.. remember he wrote this book in 1983 , so keep it in mind when reading his quotes about this " millions " quote.

I think that you have got a good point. They actually believe because a householder
turned down an Awake magazine about wild flowers from a pimpley faced teenager
that they deserve eternal death. They are killing people rather than saving them.
Maybe the world should put big signs on their doors "no JW's because I want to live
in Paradise."

As I listened to the Brother giving the public talk
Sunday, he mentioned several times how close we
are to the end. If JW's really believed that the end
is a close as they say it is, then why don't they show
this by all pioneering? If this really is a life saving
work, does driving around in a car with 5 people as
they go on return visits make sense? My wife went
out last week for 2 hours with a full car group and
talked to 1 person. If this preaching work is so urgent,
why not every one take their own car and cut down on the
butt time in the car or skip the coffee breaks or how about using
the internet to preach. Maybe they are just pretending
that the end is near in order to stay in the JW Club House.

I have a question. What is the reason that the Witchtower Babel
and Trick Society post larger numbers of the anointed every year?
Wouldn't it keep the flock all hyped up if they reported smaller
numbers every year? 8,500 in 2010, 8,300 in 2011, 8,150 in 2012, 8,000 in
2013, etc. They could drop 200 a year and go on for 40 years.
That would keep everybody in expectation because the number
of anointed is getting smaller. I guess the real problem is in 40 years
when then are only 10 remaining.

You know what is really sad is that we on JWN know more about
the JW teachings and what is going on, than those who go to
every meeting. Maybe we are the future "new light" source.
